This is The Atypical Hustlers. Thank you for joining us for this fun, cheap decorating tip. Our daughters room was just a little too bland and she of course loves glitter! So we went with a glitter wall above her bed. With her only being 3, a full glitter was was just not practical so we opted for a washable solution that is time and money friendly. The entire project only took around 30 minutes.
- Glow in the dark paint
- Elmers glue
- Glitter of course
- Round head sponge brush
- 1 Bottle of Glue (4oz) More or less depending on size of project.
- 1 Bottle of Paint (4oz) More or less depending on size of project.
- Glitter to preference
The runnier the mixture the more it will run down your wall. So if you want the dripping effect then that is perfect. We wanted ours to be a compromise in between the perfect spots and dripping.
The application is fairly easy. Our 3 year old daughter helped with the project.
We simply took the round foam brushes and dipped them in the glitter solution and put dots in a random pattern with more up top and with less on the bottom. 30 minutes and we were all done.
